In ESPN's 9.79 Documentary, it is stated that, at different points of their respective careers, 6 of the 8 Seoul 100m finalists were busted for PED. Ben Johnson was robbed of a World Gold medal, an Olympic gold medal, and a World Record that would have lasted some 20 years.

When this scandal broke Ben Johnson became the poster boy for all sports cheats. In retrospect this demonisation of Ben Johnson was very unfair. We now know that most of the athletes in that race were on steroids including Lewis and Christie. It was just that Ben Johnson was unlucky enough to get caught.

Yes, Ben was the best sprinter of all time! Lewis, on the other hand, was a sore looser! Every sprinter in that race was under the influence of steroids. I think 6 of those finalists were on steroids! Big sissy Lewis and his wear of tight leotards make me sick. Lewis is such a liar! He was on drugs too! He simply got beat by a better sprinter by far!

Because of itv fantastic intro and first time in a long time USA and Russia and east Germany at the same games. and it had the wow factor in both the 100 m and 200 m women and the men's 100 m final.we know the later outcome , but the build up to the races was unbelievable And the speed of Johnson out of the blocks and pulling away ,I will never forget that excitement and shock of that moment only at the 2008 Olympics men 100 m and 2009 world championship
